The Department of Applied Science consists of the following disciplines: Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. The subjects are taught by 15 highly qualified and experienced full-time faculty members.
Seven out of 15 members of the faculty are Ph.D.s from reputed universities and IITs, while the rest have Post Graduate qualifications.
The department has established well equipped laboratories: Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Engineering Workshop and Engineering Graphics. A number of teachers are actively engaged in research work. Their works get published in national and international journals, and international conferences.
