Students Activity Body

IEEE Student Branch, Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering is a student organization under the aegis of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
The following bodies are run by the students of the Institute where the students take part:

• BVP Inc.(business club)
• IEEE Student Branch (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
• Advantage BVP (cyber community)
• Tech. Club (recognized by Microsoft)

Cultural activities

1. Blood Donation Camp is organized every year to commemorate Birthday of Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam, Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth on 21st January, 2011.
2. Cultural Fest “XTASY-2010” was organised on 19th & 20th March, 2010.  Mr. G.S. Sandhu, Director, D.J. College of Engineering was invited as Chief Guest and inaugurated the Fest by lightening the lamp.  Dr. Yoganand Shastree, Speaker-Delhi Legislative Assembly was also invited as Chief Guest.  Various events were held like Fashion Show, Nach Baliye, Rangoli, Painting, Solo Song, Solo Dance, Bhangra, Choreography, Foot Loose, Matki fore, Classical Dance, Street Play, Video Gaming, Mr. & Ms. Xtasy, Rock Show, Star Night from Aryans Group .  Students from BVCOE & other colleges participated in these events and won exciting prizes.

Sports activities

1. Annual Sports Meet of BVCOE is being organized from 23rd March, 2010 to 02nd April, 2010.
2. Abhijeet Kadam Cricket Memorial Cup’2011 is being organized in college from 19th February – 27th February, 2011. Various teams from other colleges participated in this tournament.

Literary activities

1. Journal of Multi Disciplinary Engineering Technologies latest edition Vol. 4 No. 1 July – December, 2009 is published.  The college publishes research journal on ‘Multi-disciplinary Engineering Technologies’ to enhance the research activities by the faculty members and the students.  It covers the diverse engineering fields such as Indoor Comfort, Energy Conservation, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence, C-Mos Technology, Cryptography, Pattern Recognition and Clustering, Mobile Communication, Antenna Design and Deep-hole drilling, to mention  a few, have been published in the last two volumes.  The journal also obtains the International Standard Serial Number, ISSN-0974-1771 in February, 2008. 
1. “Quarterly E-Journal “Pratibimb” of IEEE student branch was released on 27th November, 2009 with a brand new lay out. This edition comprised of more than 50 articles in the various sections mentioned above, and received an overwhelming response from people around the world.
