The quality of education imparted through an educational institute is an important indicator of its role in socio-economic development of the country.  In order to continuously enhance and upgrade the quality of education, Bharati Vidyapeeth’s educational constituent work on the principle of social transformation through dynamic education.

We at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering always try to improve the teaching learning process to ultimately develop the institute as a centre of excellence with international standards. The college has set up a dedicated R&D Cell which is working with the objectives to support Ph.D. scholars, research activities, project proposals and writing research papers for national and international journals and conferences.  The research focus has been on multidisciplinary approach to problem solving in following fields: Value-added services in Communication Systems, Tsunami: Radio Alert System, Sustainable Built Environment, Image Processing, Nano Technology, Application of IT to problems in energy, environment, Embedded Systems, VLSI Technology.

The school of R&D has received prestigious research projects from the European Union and Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi.

“EDUcation through SATellite” is expected to transform the concept of “Brick University” to “Click University”.  Advanced softwares like IE3D for EM Simulations, MATLAB for Digital Signal Processing, TANNER EDA tools for VLSI Design & QualNet for Mobile Computing enable the students to have their hands on the advanced research tools for their future research work both in educational & in industrial fields.


Various activities like LCD presentation, Group Discussions, Case Studies, Lab Innovations & TPP have led to a symbiotic relationship of our curriculum with the industry for placements & other interactions.  Project based learning approach at BVCOE has given a new meaning to the learning process for budding engineers.  The process of modernization continues and our college will be a WI-FI enabled campus because it is in process.

The faculty is highly motivated & competent. It include 10 Ph.D. & 36 M.Tech. Degree holders in teaching staff. Other 5 faculty members are working for their Ph.D degrees. Distinguished persons from diversified fields of technology have also been inducted in the faculty.  Every Department is enriched with Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers having experience in Teaching Research & Industry.
